Easy Spring Centerpiece - Pottery Barn Inspired Decor
If you’re on the hunt for spring decor on a budget, look no further! Would you believe that this DIY only cost me $14? This simple project was inspired by a $149 Pottery Barn Color Block Vase. I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather try to recreate the look then pay that much for a vase!
It’s such a classic look. You really could use this centerpiece all year long, just switch out the florals for the seasons. You could also add water to make it look more realistic, or even use fresh flowers. I used faux florals so it would look fuller, because the mouth of this glass jar is wide. They have a few smaller sizes, too.

This really is a simple project! All you need is a little painter’s tape to create the color block line. Then paint with whatever color you want. I painted two even coats of paint (using a hair dryer in between coats because I’m impatient). With the second coat wet, I peeled the tape off to reveal the color block.

Chalk Paint - I used the color ‘Moss’
The best part about a DIY like this is you can switch it up whenever you want! You can paint it a different color for the next season or add texture to it to make it look like old pottery.
